Writers’ Exchange

Ogni anno a Vancouver, oltre 700 bambini completano i progetti creativi di alfabetizzazione organizzati dal WRITERS’ EXCHANGE (scambio degli scrittori). Questo li permette di ricevere l’attenzione individualizzata da tutori volontari per migliorare la lettura, la scrittura e la fiducia in se stessi. Le storie, avventure e idee create dai bambini vengono poi pubblicate in un piccolo libro.
In collaborazione con il Writer’s Exchange, MarameoLab ha progettato il layout e le copertine di alcuni libri. È possibile trovare la raccolta completa di libri prodotti dai bambini su ISSUU.

Every year over 700 inner-city kids of Vancouver complete creative literacy projects organised by the WRITERS’ EXCHANGE, where they receive individualised attention from volunteer mentors to boost their reading, writing and self-confidence. The stories, adventures and ideas created by the children are then published in chapbooks.
