Moltina

Una volta, molto tempo fa, c’era una vecchia signora che viveva da sola in una grotta ai piedi di una montagna circondata dalle marmotte. Un giorno le fu portata una bambina appena nata. La vecchia signora la accolse come una figlia e la chiamò Moltina. Moltina visse insieme alle marmotte, imparando le loro abitudini e il loro linguaggio, fino ad essere in grado di trasformarsi in una di loro.

Once upon a time, there was an old spirited woman who lived in a cave at the foot of a mountain, surrounded by groundhogs. One day a newborn girl was brought to her and the old lady raised the girl as her own. Moltina, as she would later be called, grew up along with the groundhogs, learning their customs, language and eventually learnt to turn herself into one.
