Come on Kids! 2

Il 18.10.2014 abbiamo partecipato a “Come on Kids!2 Fare un libro” con un workshop che abbiamo chiamato “IL CIRCO MANGIALIBRI”. Un libro è come un circo: la copertina è il tendone, le pagine sono la scena e all’interno si incontrano simpatici personaggi… Abbiamo costruito uno scenario colorato a tre dimensioni per raccontare nuove storie.
In questo laboratorio, ispirato al mondo del circo, i bambini imparano, passo dopo passo, come è possibile realizzare un libro illustrato a partire da semplici fogli bianchi, e potranno riflettere sul libro come oggetto tridimensionale e come contenitore di storie.
Attraverso il racconto del “circo Mangialibri” i bambini potranno conoscere e sperimentare i diversi aspetti della progettazione, costruzione e produzione di un libro: dalla rilegatura alla copertina, fino ad arrivare al contenuto e allo studio dei personaggi che fanno parte della storia. Il risultato sarà un libro che si trasforma in una piccola scenografia tridimensionale con la quale giocare e inventare nuove storie.

The 18th of October 2014 we took part in “Come on Kids! 2 Make a book” presenting a workshop which we called “IL CIRCO MANGIALIBRI”. A book is like a circus: the cover is the tend, the pages are the scenes and inside we meet interesting characters …
We built a colourful three-dimensional scenery to tell new stories.
In this workshop, inspired by the circus world, the children learn, step by step, how to make a picture book, starting from simple white sheets and reflecting on the book as a three-dimensional object and carrier of stories.
Through the story of the “circus Mangialibri” children can learn and experience the different aspects of design, construction and production of a book. The result is a book that turns into a small three-dimensional scene for a play and inspires them to invent new stories.
